Our Mission

Endemic exists for one simple purpose - to make wildlife travel planning easier, more accessible and more rewarding.

Why we started it…

Planning meaningful wildlife travel today is harder than it should be.

Information is scattered, inconsistent, and often shaped by commercial incentives. Getting clear, expert-backed advice – when to go, where to look, who to trust – is slower and more opaque than it needs to be.

We’re changing that.

Endemic exists to help you cut through the noise and plan smarter, with expert-backed insight from people who know the field. Whether you’re after a specific species or just want a more rewarding way to explore the wild, we help you understand your options and make better decisions - without the vested interests or hard sell.

We started Endemic after seeing how bloated, confusing and stagnant the wildlife travel industry has become.

Too often, travellers are hit with high costs and poor recommendations – relying on guidance from people who haven’t been themselves or done their homework properly. That leads to mismatched trips, strained budgets, and missed opportunities. Meanwhile, local guides and communities too often don’t get their fair share.

And then there’s the wider problem: most people don’t even consider wildlife travel. They assume it’s too expensive, too complicated, or not “for them” - put off by stereotypes and a lack of practical knowledge about what’s out there.

It doesn’t need to be this way. Endemic exists to prove there’s a better approach.

Who’s behind Endemic?

Endemic was founded by George Vincent – a wildlife guide, tour designer, and lifelong naturalist.

George has experienced the nature travel industry from every angle: as a client, a guide, an agent at a leading international wildlife tour company, and now as Managing Director of a specialist inbound operator in Australia. That blend of hands-on fieldwork and behind-the-scenes experience has given him a rare, all-round perspective on how the industry works, and where it can fall short.

He’s personally travelled to nearly 60 countries, designed bespoke wildlife tours on every continent, and led professional trips on five – recording thousands of birds, mammals, reptiles, and invertebrates in the field.
